New contractor

Hey guys. I’ve got my contractor license. It’s more than I wanted as I just wanted to remodel but was advised to become a contractor. Where do I go from here? I have no guidance. I’ve been a carpenter my entire adult life and even before I graduated high school. Any advice is appreciated.
