Why Do HA’s cost so much ?

I read an article a while back that stated there was at least 3 times the total amount of technology in an IPhone 15 as there is in the latest top of the line HA’s, at approximately 1/4 the cost. That’s $1,500 vs $6,000. Sounds like a valid statement.
